Tomato is a major cash crop of farmers central plain Uttar Pradesh. Injudicious use chemicals invited too many number insect pests. Among them sucking problems were very serious in comparison to biting and chewing insects because these developed resistance insecticides. So, last five years pest scenario had changed. Some new seen on crops. In which, American serpentine leaf minor one them. Their incidence increasing rapidly different crops like tomato, vegetable pea cucurbitaceous etc. was more susceptible for miner. Due which screening popular tomato varieties urgently needed. On that basis this study carried out ten hybrid varieties. The field the miner, L. trifolii (Burgess) severe during fruiting stage crop. Infestation higher lower surface comparisons upper surface. cumulative susceptibility index test all viz. Pusa Rohini, Uphar, Arka Saurabh, Naveen-2000, N-815, Vardan, Sadabahar, Vishal, N-2535 ArkaVardan found be resistant/less susceptible. There no significant correlation among miner yield All tested performed better Lucknow district
